Shannon Tweed

Shannon Lee Tweed is a Canadian actress and model who has acted primarily in soft core low budget films. She is the daughter of a mink rancher and is the oldest of seven siblings.

Shannon became involved in beauty pageants at a young age. After the Canadian wish-fulfillment TV series Thrill of a Lifetime arranged for her to pose for Hugh Hefner's Playboy, she gained fame as the Playmate of the Year for 1982. She was briefly involved with Hugh Hefner at that time. Since then, Shannon has primarily acted in TV series (including a guest appearance in Frasier) and B movies.

Shannon is one of the best known actresses in mainstream erotica. She lives with KISS member Gene Simmons (they are not married) and they have two children--son Nicholas and daughter Sophie. She occasionally acts with (and models with) her younger sister, Tracy Tweed.

Shannon has appeared in over 60 films over the past twenty years. Most of them seem to involve her having sex with people of various professions such as detectives, lawyers and evil geniuses. In addition to having sex, she frequently gets to beat up the bad guys while wearing figure-hugging outfits e.g. No Contest. She is one of the best known actresses of mainstream erotica, and she is identified with the genre of the erotic thriller--most notably her movies Night Eyes 2 & 3. She is also identified with one of the more well-known of bizarre and amusing titles in films: Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death (1989).

Shannon has played bad characters just as frequently as good characters. One memorable evil character was Electra, a kind of superhuman dominatrix intent on world domination. On rare occasions she has made it into mainstream films such as Detroit Rock City, but only in minor roles.

Paula Patton

Raised in Los Angeles, Paula Patton has been pursuing her dreams of becoming an actress ever since she was a little girl. Having grown up in the entertainment capital of the world, Paula began preparing for a career in the business while still in high school. Paula’s teen years were spent at the prestigious Hamilton School for the Performing Arts, where the would-be performer spent hours honing her craft. After graduating, Paula received the opportunity of a lifetime when PBS selected her as one of four young filmmakers to participate in a program called The Ride, in which she was given access to equipment and a small crew, and told to film her experiences with other youths across America.

Following that experience, Paula enrolled at UC Berkeley, though she transferred to USC Film School after her first year, and went on to graduate magna cum laude. It wasn’t long before Paula, with her experience on The Ride and her education behind her, managed to land a job with the Discovery Channel as producer for the show Medical Diaries.

Paula eventually grew tired of toiling behind the camera and decided to sign herself up for acting classes. She consequently began the arduous auditioning process, finally landing her first role opposite Will Smith and Eva Mendes in 2005’s Hitch. She followed that up with a small part in the little-seen drama London (also released in ’05 and featuring Chris Evans, Jessica Biel and Jason Statham), and appeared alongside OutKast boys Andre Benjamin and Big Boi in Idlewild (2006).

Paula was also cast in the 2006 film Déjà Vu, a thriller starring Denzel Washington and Val Kilmer.
